Joan met Frank so many years ago.


Joan moved from Vancouver, British Columbia to Whitby, Ontario where she met her husband, Frank.  Joan and Frank have remained in Ontario and presently reside north of the busy cities on their country property.



Joan has seven children's books published by Pine Lake Books.


Walter Wind - a series of stories about the adventures of a wind named, Walter Wind.  Walter learns about energy conservation, recycling, bullying and the wonder of Santa Claus as he blows around the town of Mulberry.


Cool Blues - the story of a little boy's experiences and concerns when he discovers he needs to wear glasses.  


"A Walter Wind Collection" - recently released by Pine Lake Books contains five stories of Walter Wind's adventures under one cover with original illustrations. 


"Tessy, The Teapot That Couldn't Drip" -  was released by Pine Lake Books on March 08, 2019.  Tessy has been a teapot for as long as she can remember.  Tessy is one of a kind.  She is SPECIAL.  She is told there are no other teapots just like her.  That is until . . . .


Joan has also written many short stories for the older reader and has published some in two anthologies. Joan is presently working on an adult mystery story. 


PRESENTATIONS:  Joan has been approved as an "In-House Author" by Simcoe County District School Board.  Joan is offering complimentary school presentations about her books and the process of writing.  To arrange for a presentation, contact Joan at joan.daulby@gmail.com
